At the upper elevations isolated pockets of soft slab six to 12 inches in depth lie upon slick old snow surfaces. These small surface slabs could be triggered by humans who venture into very steep, wind loaded avalanche starting zones. Avalanches are unlikely at the mid elevations. Mostly bare ground exist at the lower elevations.

Skies will be partly cloudy with a chance of snow showers. Mountain temperatures will rise into the teens to low 20s. Winds will be northwesterly at 10 to 20 miles per hour.The general avalanche hazard is expected to be LOW. At the higher elevations (9,000 to 10,500 feet) isolated pockets of soft slab six to 12 inches in depth lie upon crusty old snow surfaces. Some potential may exist for humans to trigger small avalanches on very steep slopes. Avalanches are unlikely at the mid elevations (7,500 to 9,000 feet).
