Avalanche Summary

You can easily trigger an avalanche on northwest through north to east-facing slopes where recently fallen snow rests on old, weak snow near the ground. You can trigger avalanches from below or from a distance. Avoid traveling on and beneath slopes greater than about 30 degrees. Southerly-facing terrain lacks the old, weak snow near the ground, so look here for safer options.
