New snow will increase the avalanche danger this weekend. You can trigger a dangerous avalanche where you find a cohesive slab of newly wind-drifted snow on north through east to south-facing slopes at upper elevations. Use caution if you are traveling on or near steep slopes facing these directions near and above treeline. Most slopes outside of these aspects and elevations don't have enough snow to produce a dangerous avalanche.
