Highlights
The general avalanche hazard at mid and upper elevations is CONSIDERABLE today. Strong Southsouthwest winds and more snow continue to increase depths in lee starting zones. In the past two days human triggered avalanches to 6 feet in depth have occurred at upper and mid elevations near Targhee, Teton Pass and in Grand Teton National Park. Slides are travelling on the ground, early season crusts and layers within the newer snow. Travel in avalanche terrain is not recommended today.the general avalanche hazard at low elevations is LOW today but avoid steep areas, road cuts and terrain traps.
