Avalanche Summary

An Avalanche Watch is in effect starting Tuesday morning, lasting through Friday. Strong southwest winds and intense snowfall will rapidly increase the avalanche danger. Traveling in avalanche terrain is not recommended during this period.

For Monday, steer clear of steep slopes on the north half of the compass. Southwest winds will continue to load snow on these dangerous aspects, increasing your chances of triggering a large, deadly slide. Southerly-facing slopes and lower-angle terrain are safer riding options.
