Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. Mostly stable snow exists on all aspects and elevations this morning. As the day warms, however, the snowpack will weaken and dangerous wet, loose slides will be possible on steep slopes with sun exposure. These slides may run naturally or be easily triggered by riders. Stay off damp snow in steep areas and out of ravines in the afternoon.
