A lot of new snow. As a consequence of new snow and wind the prevalence and size of the avalanche prone locations will increase. The snowpack will be in most cases unstable. Natural avalanches are possible over a wide area. Avalanches can penetrate deep layers reach very large size. As a consequence of the precipitation moist avalanches are possible. Without question, it is inadvisable to engage in backcountry touring.
Somewhat older wind slabs remain for the foreseeable future prone to triggering. As a consequence of new snow and wind, further wind slabs will form. Numerous weak layers exist in the old snowpack in particular on shady slopes.
Light snowfall.
