Highlights

Hardly any snow and low avalanche danger.

Avalanche Activity

Hardly any snow and low avalanche danger.

The avalanche risk is low. The risk of stones and slipping on icy surfaces is higher than the risk of burial.

Snowpack Structure

Little snow, lots of patches of ice. The hard to icy snow surface in the morning softens on the sunny slopes during the day. Edgy persistent weak layer weakens the snow base, fundament if present.

Weather Forecast

On Wednesday, the sky will often be covered with medium and high clouds. Visibility should be mostly unrestricted and it will remain dry. Moderate to brisk winds from south to east (peaks up to 70 km/h). Temperatures at 2000 metres will be +2 degrees.

Tendency

No significant change in avalanche danger.
