Avalanches can be released in the old snowpack by large loads. There is a danger of falling on the hard snow surface, in particular on very steep sunny slopes. In localities where more snow falls danger level 2 (moderate) will be reached in the afternoon.

Some snow will fall on Saturday. The wind will be light. In all aspects only a small amount of snow is lying for the time of year. On sunny slopes below approximately 2600 m no snow is lying.

The avalanche danger will persist.
