Forecast Snow Stability: Unstable windslab will continue to develop overnight and during the day becoming more widespread and deeper on Northerly through East to South-Easterly aspects above 800 metres where avalanches are likely. Coire rims, headwalls and gullies especially affected. Large weak cornices will continue to build above same aspects threatening collapse on to slopes below. Below 800m localised unstable windslab will be present in wind sheltered places. The avalanche hazard will be Considerable.

Forecast Weather Influences: Precipitation will fall as snow throughout the forecast period lying above 400 metres or so. Winds gale force Westerly overnight backing strong West-South-Westerly for the day. Heavy drifting will continue. Observed Weather Influences: Persistent precipitation falling as snow overnight and during the morning above 200m, then heavy snow showers during the afternoon above 600m or so. Winds Gale force West-South-Westerly with significant drifting. ObservedSnowStability: Unstable windslab has developed significantly, becoming more widespread and deeper on Northerly through East to South-Easterly aspects above 800 metres. Coire rims, headwalls and gullies especially affected. Large Cornices have also developed above same aspects threatening collapse. Below this level localised unstable windslab has developed in wind sheltered places above 600m. The avalanche hazard is Considerable.
