At the upper elevations, gusty winds continue to transport snow onto leeward terrain features and form small, pockets of slab. Small slab avalanches could be human triggered on steep, avalanche-prone terrain and could have severe consequences in extreme terrain. The daily warming will increase the possibility to trigger these slabs and may cause small, wet loose avalanches on steep, sunlit slopes. At the mid and lower elevations, avalanches are unlikely but monitor the daily warming for changes in conditions. Although unlikely, a remote chance for a high marking snowmachine to trigger a large slab avalanche may exist on isolated terrain features.

Temperatures will be a few degrees warmer than today. Winds will be westerly at 15 miles per hour with higher gusts.The general avalanche hazard is expected to be low. The snowpack is mostly stable. At the higher elevations small slab avalanches could be triggered by humans. Even very small avalanches can be dangerous in extreme terrain. Although unlikely a remote chance for a high marking snowmachine to trigger a large slab avalanche may exist in the Togwotee Pass and Greys River forecast areas.
