Forecast Snow Stability: The existing limited snow cover will remain very firm in all locations and will be well bonded and stable throughout. New snow amounts will not be significant and will mostly lie on bare ground. Any deeper accumulations will mainly be found on steep South to South-West aspects above 800 metres and will generally be avoidable. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: There will be the chance of a light snow shower at any time throughout the forecast period. It will remain cold with the freezing level lowering to glen level overnight, peaking at 500 metres in the afternoon. The fresh North-Easterly wind will back overnight to a moderate Northerly through the day. Observed Weather Influences: Apart from the occasional wintry shower in the afternoon, it was a largely dry, part cloudy day with good spells of sunshine. The wind was a moderate to fresh Northerly and the freezing level was around 400 metres at midday. ObservedSnowStability: The existing limited snow cover is very firm in all locations and is well bonded and stable throughout. There is a slight dusting of new snow on the higher summits, mostly above 850 metres. The avalanche hazard is Low.
