Avalanche Activity

The snowpack will be generally stable.

Adjacent to ridgelines rather small wind slabs formed. Individual avalanche prone locations are to be found in extremely steep terrain in high Alpine regions. Some new snow to low altitudes. The avalanche danger will persist.

Snowpack Structure

The snowpack is largely stable and its surface has a melt-freeze crust. Wind slabs are lying mostly on the smooth surface of an old snowpack. From a snow sport perspective, in most cases insufficient snow is lying.
