Forecast Snow Stability: The surface layers of the snow will gradually firm up as the freezing level lowers. All recent deposits will be well bonded and stable. Patchy cover at lower altitudes with some deeper accumulations in wind sheltered locations, mainly but not exclusively, on South-West through West to North aspects above 1000 metres. Shallow and insignificant fresh accumulations will form on North-East to South-East aspects. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: A mostly dry night followed by some light snow at most levels from late morning. Winds during the day will be generally moderate Westerlies. The freezing level will fluctuate around 400 metres. Observed Weather Influences: A dry morning with some very light precipitation during the afternoon, falling as a trace of snow above 900 metres. Moderate South-Westerly winds. Freezing level 1000 metres during the morning, lowering to 900 metres from early afternoon. ObservedSnowStability: Generally patchy, wet snow throughout. Some deeper accumulations exist in wind sheltered locations on South-West through West to North aspects above 1000 metres. Deposits are mostly well bonded and stable. The avalanche hazard is Low.
