Avalanche Activity

The mostly shallow wind slabs represent the main danger.

As a consequence of a strong wind, wind slabs formed in some places. Individual small avalanches are possible. The avalanche prone locations are to be found on very steep slopes and in gullies and bowls, and behind abrupt changes in the terrain. In steep terrain there is a danger of falling on the hard snow surface.

Snowpack Structure

The snowpack will be generally well bonded. Some fresh snow and the small wind slabs remain in some cases prone to triggering above approximately 1800 m.

Tendency

The weather will be cold in all regions.
