Highlights
At mid and high elevations the recent storm came with varying strong winds that deposited snow on a variety of aspects. Skiers triggered a slide on a southeast aspect Saturday and a large slide on a north aspect into the Philips drainage at 9300 feet yesterday. The slides are running on sun crusts on southerly aspects and buried surface hoar on northerly slopes. At low elevations avalanches are unlikely.
