Highlights

At the upper elevations pockets of surface slab up to one foot in depth could be triggered on steep wind loaded aspects. At all elevations a weak layer of buried faceted snow and surface hoar persists with depths of one to three feet. The possibility of human triggered avalanches on this layer continues and may occur after the slope has been crossed or skied several times when a hard to predict weak point or "trigger point" is hit.
