Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. At higher elevations soft slabs up to a foot in depth rest on leeward slopes. The slabs sit on weak, lighter density snow and slick crusts. Riders or skiers on steep wind loaded avalanche starting zones could trigger a slide in these areass. Warm temperatures and a rotting snowpack at the low elevations hold the possibility for wet loose slides on steep snow covered slopes.
