Highlights

The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. Weak layers of faceted snow persist in the lower half of the snowpack. The potential to trigger hard slab avalanches up to three feet in depth on steep avalanche prone slopes and for wet slides to occur on very steep sunlit aspects will increase as the day warms.
