The general avalanche hazard is CONSIDERABLE above an elevation of 7,500 feet. Unstable, unpredictable hard slab avalanches one to three feet in depth exist on a variety of aspects and could be triggered by the first or second person on a slope or by cutting a slope below the higher starting zones. At the lower elevations the general avalanche hazard is LOW.
