Highlights
Backcountry travelers will have the ability to trigger new snow to sluffs or small soft slabs on steep slopes where it has fallen on hard snow surfaces. In steep avalanche terrain at the mid and high elevations the possibility of deep hard slab avalanches continues in limited but hard to predict areas. Triggering these dangerous slides may require larger loads such as snowmomobiles, groups of people, or one person hitting a particularly weak spot on the slope.
