Highlights
Soft slabs up to five feet in depth at the upper elevations, three feet in depth at the mid elevations and one foot in depth at the lower elevations lie upon slick old snow surfaces. These slabs could release naturally or be easily triggered especially in cliff areas and in steep wind loaded starting zones. Loose snow sluffs of significant volume are likely today at all elevations. TRAVEL IN UPPER ELEVATION AVALANCHE TERRAIN IS NOT RECOMMENDED TODAY. CAUTION AND EXCELLENT AVALANCHE SKILLS ARE NECESSARY FOR TRAVEL IN AVALANCHE TERRAIN AT THE MID ELEVATIONS.
