Highlights
Strong winds and snow have formed slabs up to four feet in depth on wind loaded slopes and in cliff areas. These slabs lie on weak snow over slick crusts and could easily be triggered on steeper slopes by backcountry users. Yesterday many slides to three feet in depth released at all elevations. At low elevations deep slabs could be released on steep banks and in gullies. Travel in avalanche terrain is not recommended today.
