Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. Hard slabs to 3 feet in depth exist at a variety of elevations and aspects. These slabs lie on old crusts and faceted snow and backcountry users, especially large loads such as snowmobiles, can trigger such slabs on steep slopes and in cliff areas. Watch for sloughs on sunlit slopes that may develp into larger slides as the day warms.
