Highlights

At the mid and upper elevations DANGEROUS dense slabs up to five feet in depth lie upon weak layers of light density snow and slick sliding surfaces. These slabs continue to be triggered by skiers. Yesterday, skier triggered avalanches were reported on a northeast aspect in the Snake River Range and on Glory Bowl and in the the upper Green River drainage of the Teton Range. Similiar events are possible especially in cliff areas and steep wind loaded starting zones.
