Avalanche Summary
Generally safe avalanche conditions exist across the state. If you plan on traveling in very steep, consequential terrain higher in the alpine, avoid hard, wind-drifted snow where your skis or snowboard barely make a track. You could trigger a small pocket that could take you for a nasty ride.
Warmer temperatures and strong sunshine increase the chance of small wet avalanches on sunny slopes later in the day. Start and end your day early to avoid this issue.
