The northwest flow will continue Wednesday. Weak disturbances will move through the flow with the first Tuesday night. Only flurries or light snow are expected. Low temperatures Wednesday morning will be in the single digits then warm to the mid twenties during the day under mostly clear skies. Winds will be northwesterly at 20 to 25 miles per hour overnight then 10 to 15 during the day.Wednesday the General Avalanche Hazard is expected to be LOW at all elevations. Pockets of soft surface slabs could be triggered but will be dangerous primarily due to exposed hazards from the shallow snow pack. Isolated pockets of much harder slab up to 18 inches deep persist beneath the new snow and retain some potential to be triggered by humans. At elevations below 7,500 feet, new snow has fallen on mostly bare ground and avalanches are unlikely.
