Highlights

The general avalanche hazard is LOW. Strong southwest winds have formed isolated pockets of new soft slab up to eight inches deep on leeward aspects along the highest ridge lines. These shallow surface slabs could be triggered by humans in steep, wind loaded avalanche starting zones and cliff areas. Avalanches are unlikely below an elevation of 9,000 feet.
