Highlights

Since early Tuesday morning forty inches of new snow with three inches of moisture has fallen at the upper elevations. Southwest winds have created soft surface slabs one to four feet in depth. These slabs could be triggered by humans who venture onto steep slopes. At the lower elevation mostly stable snow exist and avalanches are unlikely.
