Avalanche Summary

Most slopes are free from dangerous avalanches. That said, we do have two developing Loose avalanche problems.

As the snowpack weakens, it will become easier to trigger loose avalanches at low elevations on steep, shady, sheltered slopes. As temperatures continue to warm and the sun shines, we could see some loose activity on steep, rocky, sunny slopes in the afternoon. These avalanches are something to pay attention to, but overall, avalanche size will remain small, and conditions will remain generally safe.
