Below ridgelines on steep easterly or southerly-facing slopes, you might trigger a small slab avalanche in recently wind-drifted snow. Avoid slopes below cornices or where dense surface drifts are deeper than about a foot thick. Choose wind-sheltered terrain with soft snow surfaces.
Friday afternoon, warm temperatures will allow the snow surface to wet. Once it does, you might push small wet avalanches. Avoid slopes above terrain traps like cliffs, gullies, or creek beds.
