Forecast Snow Stability: Little change is expected, greatest accumulations of snow lie on West through North to Easterly aspects above 950m and although moist to depth will be generally stable throughout. Below this level snow cover is patchy, soft, but stable. The avalanche hazard will be Low

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: Freezing level above the summits, lowering to 900m or so late in the day. Precipitation overnight will be light rain with sleet on summits. Observed Weather Influences: Freezing level well about the summits. Precipitation throughout the day falling as sleet at summit levels rain below. Sends strong South-Easterly. Very poor visibility above 950m. ObservedSnowStability: There is significant snow loss below 950 metres and patchy areas of stable snow lie in wind sheltered places. Greater accumulations are present above 950 metres on West through North to Easterly aspects and although moist to depth, these areas continue to consolidate and are generally stable throughout. The avalanche hazard is Low
