Highlights
The General Avalanche Hazard is MODERATE. The possibility continues for snowmobilers and skiers to trigger hard slab avalanches on persistent weak layers of faceted snow at the base of the snowpack and at depths to two feet below the snow surface. As the day progresses and air temperature rise the potential to trigger these slabs on steep slopes will increase.
