Highlights
Strong southwest winds have formed small pockets of new soft slab up to one foot deep in some upper elevation avalanche starting zones. These isolated pockets of surface slab could be triggered by humans who venture onto very steep slopes or into cliff areas with fresh deposits of wind drifted snow.
