Avalanche Summary

Dangerous avalanche conditions exist. You can trigger a dangerous avalanche in the recent storm snow on most steep slopes regardless of aspect or elevation. Avalanches in the storm snow could step down into a more deeply buried weak layer, resulting in un-survivable avalanches. Avoid slopes with lens-shaped pillows of snow. Slopes less than 30 degrees offer safer travel options.
