Avalanche Summary

Snow begins to accumulate Tuesday and the avalanche danger begins to rise. Avalanches will become increasingly eager to trigger in areas with more than about eight inches of storm snow. Avoid steep slopes with old snow underneath. Rapid accumulations bringing storm totals over 15 inches are possible by Wednesday. Avalanches will be larger and easier to trigger.
