Avalanche Summary

A blustery storm with gusty winds may drift snow in unusual places. With only a couple of inches of new snow, new slabs should be small and easy to manage. Cold temperatures will shut down any wet snow issues, but the threat of triggering a larger avalanche on northerly-facing slopes remains. You might have to find just the wrong spot on a slope to get a collapse and bring down the entire snowpack, so be careful. Steer clear of common trigger points around steep rollovers, shallow rocky areas, or the margins of a slope where the slab is thinner.
