Highlights
The general avalanche hazard has increased but remains MODERATE. Strong southwest to west-northwest winds have formed new soft slabs up to 18 inches in depth in upper elevation starting zones. These slabs could be triggered by humans who venture into steep wind loaded avalanche starting zones and terrain traps.
