Highlights
The General Avalanche Hazard is MODERATE today. New light snow and Southwesterly winds have formed slabs to a foot in depth in avalanche terrain. These slabs lie upon crusts and faceted snow and although shallow may be triggered by backcountry users in avalanche starting zones and cliff areas. Beware of terrain traps that may result in burials even though the released slabs may be relatively small.
