Highlights

At mid and upper elevations, with new snow, wet loose avalanches could be triggered by backcountry travellers especially in cliff areas. Old wet snow could be involved. At lower elevations, with rain last night, the snowpack continues to rapidly melt. No recent avalanche activity has been observed at lower elevations and some slopes are totally bare, but, avalanches could be triggered on snow covered open slopes.
