Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. Mostly stable snow exists except for some DANGEROUS deep slabs which lie upon an old hard snow surface and a layer of weak faceted snow near the ground. These deep slabs could still be triggered on steep wind loaded northerly aspects above 8,000 feet and on northerly and easterly aspects above 9,500 feet. On other aspects isolated pockets of slab could be triggered in steep wind loaded starting zones and cliff areas.
