Highlights

Pockets of slab up to 18 inches in depth formed by southwest to northwest winds exist is steep wind loaded mid and upper elevation starting zones. These slabs lie upon slick crusts and weak layers of faceted snow and could be human triggered by backcountry travelers today. At the lower elevations the snowpack is shallow and avalanches are unlikley except in isolated pockets.
