Highlights

At the mid and upper elevations older slabs 2 to 4 feet in depth lie upon weak layers of faceted snow. Slabs could be human triggered today especially in areas with recent wind deposits and where the underlying faceted snow is well developed. These slabs can be triggered on slopes which have been previously crossed by skiers or snowmobilers and could step to the ground.
