Forecast Snow Stability: The limited snowpack which mainly exists in the higher Northerly and Easterly corries will remain moist with generally good stability throughout. The surface of the snow cover will remain firm on some exposed slopes particularly at higher levels. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Mild, dry and fairly calm conditions will continue overnight and on Friday. The freezing level will remain well above the summits, winds will be moderate to fresh generally from an Easterly direction. Expect summit temperatures of around 2-4 degrees centigrade. Observed Weather Influences: After a wet night mild and damp conditions continued to affect the area. Winds have been moderate to fresh South-Westerly. The freezing level was well above the summits. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack which is mainly in the higher Northerly and Easterly corries is moist throughout with generally good stability. The surface of the snow cover remains firm in places. The avalanche hazard is Low.
