Forecast Snow Stability: Little change is expected. The snowpack which mainly exists in the higher North and East facing corries will remain well bonded and stable. The surface is expected to refreeze and become firm overnight, softening where it receives some sun during the day. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: It will remain dry with light variable winds. Cold overnight and warming during the day but freezing level poorly defined due to a temperature inversion. Observed Weather Influences: It was a dry, sunny day with light Easterly winds. The freezing level was above the summits. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack which mainly exists in the higher North and East facing corries is well bonded and stable. The snowpack surface became firm in all locations overnight and softened when in the sun today. The avalanche hazard is Low.
