Forecast Snow Stability: The remaining snowpack will be well bonded and stable in all locations. The snow surface will be firm during the first part of the morning then starting to soften where exposed to direct sunlight during the day. Greatest snow amounts remain above 900 metres in gullies, around some corrie lips and coire headwalls but patchy elsewhere. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: The freezing level will be above the summits, although lower air temperatures and clear skies may give a slight frost in the glens. Staying dry with fresh South-Easterly winds. Observed Weather Influences: Today was a fine spring day with dry, bright and clear conditions which were accompanied by light South-Easterly winds. The freezing level was around 800 metres this morning and there was an overnight frost at all levels, the freezing level rose to be above the summits during the course of the day.

ObservedSnowStability: The remaining snowpack is well bonded and stable in all locations. The snow surface is firm and icy after last nights lower temperatures which refroze the moist snowpack. During the day the snowpack started to soften particularly where exposed to direct sunlight. Greatest snow amounts remain above 900 metres in gullies, around some corrie lips and coire headwalls but its patchy elsewhere. The avalanche hazard is Low.
