Forecast Snow Stability: The snowpack will continue to consolidate at all altitudes. Localised instabilities will remain present above 1000 metres on South-West through North to East aspects. Areas most affected will be in steep and convex terrain such as around coire rims and gully tops. Above these aspects cornices will be fragile and prone to collapse. The avalanche hazard will be Moderate.

Forecast Weather Influences: Snow showers will peter out during the early evening. Moderate Southerly winds will increase to strong through the day. Long spells of sunshine expected. The freezing level will rise from 1000 metres to above the summits by midday. Observed Weather Influences: Occasional snow showers on moderate to strong Southerly winds. The summit temperature at midday was around zero. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack is slowly consolidating at all altitudes. Moderately bonded windslab is present on South-West through North to East aspects above 900 metres. The greatest instability is in steep and convex locations such as gully exits and coire rims. Roller ball activity was observed on steep Northerly aspects. Fragile cornices remain present above all of these aspects. The avalanche hazard is Moderate.
