Highlights
Avalanches are unlikely on Tuesday. Unlikely isn't the same as impossible, and you could still find unstable snow in isolated pockets of alpine terrain.
Avalanche Discussion
Cool, stable weather and a lack of persistent weak layers are combining to create the Low Avalanche Hazard.
Our storm snow from last week has consolidated considerably and we are currently seeing snow heights in the 105-130 cm. range. For the most part all of our newer snow has been "right-side-up" and getting harder as it gets deeper. The one exception is the observation of burried surface hoar (burried approx. 60 cm.) in the Todd Lake region. This weak layer doesn't appear to be widespread, as we haven't found it elsewhere.
