In the last few days sometimes large wind slabs formed especially adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls as well as at high altitude. These can be released by a single winter sport participant. As a consequence of solar radiation more dry and moist avalanches are possible as the day progresses, but they can reach medium size. This applies in particular in steep rocky terrain. Careful route selection and spacing between individuals are recommended.

Towards its surface, the snowpack is soft and has a loosely bonded surface. This applies in particular on shady slopes as well as at high altitude. The sometimes strong wind has transported the new snow. This applies in particular on near-ridge east facing slopes. The old snowpack is well consolidated. In some cases the wind slabs have bonded poorly with the old snowpack. Above approximately 2100 m a lot of snow is lying.

Some snow will fall from the afternoon. Light snowfall above approximately 1400 m.
