Forecast Snow Stability: The snowpack will continue to consolidate and remain well bonded firm and stable throughout. Greatest accumulations will be on North-West through North to East facing coire back walls, ridge flanks and plateau areas above 900 metres. Below this altitude the ground will be mostly bare with ribbons of soft stable snow remaining in areas such as shallow gullies and steep banks. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Dry conditions will continue throughout the forecast period. Moderate South-South-Westerly winds will steadily increase overnight to become strong South-Westerly during the day. Cooler temperatures are expected as the freezing level falls to around 700 metres. Observed Weather Influences: A dry day with sunny spells and light South-Westerly winds. The freezing level remained above the highest summits. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack is generally firm, well bonded and stable throughout. Some areas are covered with soft thawing stable snow. Greatest accumulations are on North-West through North to East facing coire back walls, ridge flanks and plateau areas above 900 metres. Bellow 900 metres, the ground is mostly bare with ribbons of soft stable snow lying in areas such as shallow gullies and steep banks. The avalanche hazard is Low.
